Amanda Bury

Outreach & Communications, Registration Coordinator, Online Gallery Manager

Amanda’s studio practice centers on functional ware that pays homage to our food origins and the marvelously complex and deeply flawed systems that move food from the ground to our tables every day.

Amanda received a Bachelor of Art in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Art in Anthropology from Central Washington University. She then did a Post-Baccalaureate study in Ceramics at the University of Montana. Amanda then spent time as a long-term artist in residence at several well-known organizations including the Morean Center for Clay and Belger Crane Yard Studios.

Amanda lives on-site with her dog and works alongside Scott Parady and the resident artists in the studio, creating a small but close community of working artists
